About Me
I specialize in the treatment of trauma and its many ripple effects—such as anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, panic, low self-esteem, compulsions, addictions, and other self-harming behaviours. Because trauma is held in the body, I use therapeutic approaches that go beyond talk therapy to help clients gently reconnect with their internal experience and build greater resilience.

I integrate body-based and cognitive approaches to help clients access and express emotions that may be difficult to put into words. In our work together, I may draw from my training in:
-
Body (Somatic) Psychotherapy
-
Sensorimotor Psychotherapy
-
Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT)
-
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
-
Dance/Movement Therapy

For over 20 years, I’ve been deeply committed to helping individuals and couples improve their quality of life. As a Registered Clinical Counsellor, my work focuses on strengthening the relationship people have with themselves—and with others—so they can make meaningful choices and lasting changes in their lives.
I’m a long-time Vancouver resident, mother of two daughters, and frequent wanderer of local trails with the dog. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, yoga, dancing, and time with friends. I also have a long-standing meditation practice that supports my belief in presence, compassion, and embodied awareness.
